            | lisfisher | Ct | I have 5 plants, all of which had one svb in each. I removed them all. The areas I yanked them out from are brown and mushy with a hole where they chewed in. The damage does not look too bad but I am wondering what I can expect now. Will all the plants die? | 8/4/2008 12:10:41 PM |

            | christrules | Midwest | The plant will be ok if you have your tap roots buried. But, the hole will stay mushy for a week. The plants will not die but the vines may die depending on the damage. The hole may widen up and form a scab.... this is an entrance for more disease so Captan fungicide would help prevent bad stuff from making it worse. You're season is not over! Best wishesGreg
