            | Wyecomber | Canada | Am working overtime this year , my goal is not to have one single svb sawdust hole on ny of my plants,, ive been spraying ambush every 5 days for the past 2 weeks been seeing svbs every single time i'm out there.. they are eaither jumping leaf to leaf or just sitting on leafs.. been killing them and sprayin them
anyhow was just wondering will AMBUSH KILL svb eggs? once layed and then sprayed or does ambush ONLY kill the svbs once they have hatched?

am limited to what i can use here every 7 days so want to make sure this stuff is going to work as i'm tired of working year after year to finding sawdust holes killing my plants year after year.

 thanks
 Dave

            | Tremor | [email protected] | Ambush won't kill the eggs but as the eggs hatch the larva will be exposed & die.

            | Wyecomber | Canada | as soon as the buggers hatch from the eggs do they borrow instantly or do they normally live on the stalks for a day or 2 before digging in? ( so i have a chance to get them sprayed before they borrow? cause i really dont want to cut my vines open this year to pull them out...
does the ambush product stay filmed on the stalks so as the larva come out they instantly get it on them and killed?

man i'm over there every single day.... would spraying twice a week be too much???? or would it hurt the plant

today I saw both svbs and the yellow cuke beetles breeding around my plant i was tempted to spray again :-*(

You may want to try to increase the doseage! I don't think it is working too well if you are seeing lots of mature insects in between sprays.

There will be residue from tha Ambush, stay on the plant, that should kill the larva as they hatch.

            | Wyecomber | Canada | John,
The mix rate is 10ml per 1 liter should i bump it up to 15 ml per liter? i always spray at nigth at sunset

when you spray do you spray top and bottom of all leafs and stalks ext ext.. ya seeing the eggs and cukes still around sucks as its what kills my plants every year.

I will do another spray at 15 ml per liter or even an 10 ml at 1/2 liter I;m just useing a Rona hand pump sprayer so its hard to get good coverage but ya next spray I'll up the dose and see what happens

 thanks.
