I love each of these pictures, for therefore various reasons.
Great accomplishments by all and I don't know why I've never even THOUGHT of an official, online weighoff!
That'd be great for me, but it'd be neat to hear of how you officiate the numerous entries for validity and
proof of each weight. My compliments to all the presenters here. eric g

Best of luck it sounds like an interesting competition!! Much like Eric said it will be very interesting to see how this competition plays out and the results come in!!! Regardless of the technical side of the outcome!!! I am excited about the thought of bringing all giant growers together within Russia and really highlighting this incredible sports/hobby. I’m excited to see the results and I wish each and every grower the absolute best.

Thank you so much for your kind words and wishes! I'm sorry, I couldn't answer right away. I will write a separate post about how we conduct an online event. In fact, there is nothing complicated there. It's like when you submit your achievements to the book of records. We have a double fixation on the video, from the moment of cutting the fruit to weighing. At the same time, we allow you to cut pumpkins into pieces and weigh them on trading scales with the platform. All this is being filmed non-stop, from two angles. And then the participants send their video reports to us. Where our commission examines everything carefully. In the four years that we have been conducting our competition, there have never been any problems with this approach of the final report. People are very responsible about their obligations. Perhaps because there is no cash prize worth cheating for, or it's just that good people are involved and they don't need to cheat.
