            | Tremor | [email protected] | The CT GS&PGA was honored to have such fine growers & attendees at Penfield today. Thank You ALL for coming! We had a GREAT day. The weather was perfect for a beach-side weigh-off.
 Some parting thoughts:

I'm thinking "Grower of the Year" for Joe Jutras. I believe he still has another card up his sleeve for Frerich's next Sunday...

Stephen says "Thanks" for the GO! Board blank. He'll email you the GO! stuff this week as he promised.

DQing Dick Wallace was the right thing to do (his words) after seeing the mess inside the 1352 - WOW. Dick, Stephen says THANKS for the seeds. He was VERY proud of them & will likely grow them next year.

The CT Top-Ten moved up very nicely this year.

More new PBs in CT this year than any other that I can think of without cracking the books (but I will later).

Glenn's NY State record Squash 975 Andrews* '07....Awesome

Congrats Dave & Glenn both joining the Thousand Pound Club.

Congrats Bart for breaking a thousand for the second time this year!

Thanks to Treelands for landscaping the Penfield grounds for the day, donating the field pumpkins & especially to Terry for the help cleaning up & bringing my tents & tables home for me! That was a classy thing to do Terry!

Thanks to John Sweeney at DLTC for lending us his awesome trailer & brand spanking new diesel Toyota forklift. John really stepped up when our usual forklift provider got Whooping Cough. Chris repaired the damage I caused the traier as best he could.

Thanks James for driving the forklift so well all day (again!).

Thanks to my own guardian angel for working over time tonight. Three pumpkins totaling 2000 lbs plus an 8000+ lb Toyota forklift on 1 truck & trailer. I was causing other drivers fits as they tried gawking at & taking pictures of the load! "YES" I do have pictures of the rig...I'll post later. LOL

Special THANKS to Chris Nelson who followed me back to our warehouse (no lights on the trailer). At every bump in the road I was sending a shower of sparks back 30 feet or so. LOL Halloween & the Fourth of July all wrapped into one giant 55MPH rolling display...YIKES!

SPECIAL THANKS to the Wives, Children, Moms, etc who sold Tee shirts, hats, raffle tickets, baked goods & beverages all day. Lorraine was too tired to finish counting but we must have set an all timer record in sales for the club.
