The 4th Annual St. Mary's School Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Taber, Alberta, was held today. We had 20 entries, with an average weight of 166 pounds. July was brutally hot this year and everyone's weights suffered. Here's the top three in each division. For another year, the kids beat the adults.

1st John Motycka Jr. 263 pounds
2nd Melanie Bos 240 pounds
3rd John Motycka Sr. 204 pounds

Youth
Justin Meier 321 pounds
Tyson Meier 204 pounds
Lenny Millo 194 pounds


Prettiest pumpkin went to John Motycka Sr., and ugliest pumpkin went to Tyson Meier.
