Doug,

The Pro and Amateur classes are what we have done to give newer growers a better chance to win some prizes. We take the top ten growers and move them into the pro class the following year. We give prizes for both classes. We have found this works very well for us and we are getting more and more growers showing up to the weigh-off each year.
