I'm wondering if nekoosa also has a pumpkin carving competition and if so do you carv the pumpkin on site or can you bring an allready carved pumpkin.Also I was wondering what kind of prizes are awarded for the squash and the pumpkins?thanks!!!

Last years 1st prize Pumpkin the 908 Crueziger Netted $1,000. Joe Ailts 798 $750. No pumpking carving contest. A local artist normally sculpts a few AG'S.

If memory serves me correctly, a top squash will score you $100. I'm pretty sure the 3rd place pumpkin gets $500, and places are paid out beyond 10th. They send out a newsletter in September with all the specifics, if you are a club member that is.
