There are two sources I'd suggest:

http://www.pgpga.com is the Pennsylvania Giant Pumpkin Grower's Association website. They don't have any information about the 2000 weigh off posted yet, but I believe it's scheduled for Oct. 7. It's been at the Sam's Club in Altoona the past 2 years.

Marv Meisner ([email protected]) is one of the main organizers behind the altoona weigh off; he can probably tell you more than anyone.
