Wow, what an incredible showing for our 2nd year event. It was a who's who of upper-midwest pumpkin growers. The highlight of the show was Bill Foss's new Minnesota state record, equally exciting was Jerold Johnson's squash record. Thanks to all who pitched in a helping hand and thanks to the growers who made this a standout event!

That 1213 was one of the most interesting looking fruit i have ever seen....congrats bill!! That 1028 squash was a cool speciman as well. Danny and Mr. Peterson....those armstrong seeds are very reliable! It was nice to meet you guys and the rest for the 1st time. This weighoff should become quite the stiff competition in the coming years.

Tremendous job everyone!!!!!! Sorry I couldn't make it.

We've been here 2 months and just got unpacked. Started working up a patch for next year, too. My husband has had enough of working 120 hours/week and only getting 3 hours sleep a night. He put in his notice and we're heading back to southern Ohio next week. Sooooo, I'm packing everything up again.

4lbs for a new PB! Ahh well, may be next year as usual. It was a great day, great to meet everyone, what happened to all that beef I brought? Jeez, the kids had to have cereal when we got home. Missed the Engle crowd Shannon!
