Saturday, October 14th is the Prince Edward County Pumpkinfest in Wellington Ontario.
We kick things off with a parade at 10:30AM. The weigh off starts at 12:30 and we are usually all done by 4:00PM

The Entry fee is $10 for the first entry and $5 for additional entries. This includes a membership in the Prince Edward Pumpkin Growers and an annual newsletter.

Here is the prize structure:

First heaviest pumpkin ... $200.00
Second heaviest pumpkin ... $100.00
Third heaviest pumpkin ... $75.00
Fourth heaviest pumpkin ... $50.00
Fifth heaviest pumpkin ... $40.00
Sixth heaviest pumpkin ... $40.00
Seventh to Fifteenth heaviest pumpkin ... $25.00
Bill Greer Memorial Prize for heaviest pumpkin grown in the county ... $200.00
Heaviest squash ... $50.00
Tallest sunflower (no entry fee required) ... $15.00
Second tallest sunflower ... $10.00

We have several draw prizes, including cash and merchandise for growers.

Although we are not a GPC site, our weights are official and are recognized by the AGGC.
