need to grow 5 pound seeds or under to reach 8 pounds..8.61 from the 5.85,8.41 from the 4.57, 8.36 from the 5.85, 8.22 from the 5.95. Maybe next year I will only plant 4 and 5 pound seeds.

I think that i average around 400-500 seeds per tomato ? But i get to tired of counting after a few hundred and estimate the rest !!! But 800+ is alot !!!

The first part of this contest is getting all three team members to organize with each other. That means finding them first and visa versa. That may require some investigative effort. Get through that hurdle, then learn how to communicate with each other. Get through that hurdle, then grow tomato plants. You have to use the resources available on this website to do that, if not another website. That's a long Spring and Summer to get through all that, right? At the end of the day you will have 3 growers with 6 of the largest tomatoes. They will deserve to win the loot!
