            | scott_kim_west_nc | Hampstead, NC 28443 | Thanks Ice Man for posting in your diary the issues you had with your plants this season. I know that all growers hope that we can find out the answer and pass it around for all to learn from. I appreciate you caring for all others and wanting to help us learn. This is the sign of a true club leader. Instead of burying your head disappointed with your season, you hopefully will let us all learn a valuable lesson. Thanks!!! | 8/27/2012 5:56:44 PM |

            | Walking Man | formerly RGG | Kudos to you Todd for all the hard work you have put in. You are a great grower and I expect you to bounce back next year and be competing for top honors. You can't keep a good man down! | 8/27/2012 10:30:12 PM |

            | 1SG | Alabama | Todd, from the pictures its looks like gummy stem blight. I had it and cerca spora leaf spot, both funguses per the county extension agent. I did research the mustard green cover crop option that we discussed, and it is recommended to kill funguses. When the mustard breaks down it creates a chemical that is toxic to many funguses. | 8/30/2012 7:01:46 PM |
