            | Walking Man | formerly RGG | To be good and ripe (sweet) they generally need around 60 days to grow following pollination. | 7/16/2012 9:36:30 PM |

            | Bubba Presley | Muddy Waters | In yankee land it could take 70 to 80 depending on the weather | 7/16/2012 10:29:23 PM |

            | Walking Man | formerly RGG | Normal signs of ripeness do not apply with Carolina Cross melons. | 7/17/2012 6:57:57 AM |

            | Minnesota Melon Man | Rochester, Minnesota | I received an email from a new grower that had associated size with ripeness. It's a classic beginner mistake. This years melons were larger than the biggest one you can buy in the store after about 24 days on the vine, so that's really a bad indicator. | 7/19/2012 1:28:13 PM |
