when pollinating a female do u have to wait for the blossom on top to open up, ive been watching the same female for a few days now and it doesnt seem to want to open, i would hate to miss it, its 9ft out on the main vine |

The stigma is inside the female flower and receives the pollen from male flowers that have opened up. You absolutely do have to wait. |
