            | Milford | milford, CT, | Did you guys realize that Leonardo's 991 is the same cross as the 998 Pukos...and it threw a pretty big fruit this year. Maybe it has the same magic in it? Mark | 10/17/2008 3:33:11 PM |

            | Farmer Chuck | Santa Rosa, CA | Yes. Fellow grower Russ (Patchmaster) Pingrey grew a 1,214.5 pounder off of it. I saw the plant during the growing season and it was huge...not to mention the fruit.

            | Kevin Snyder (TEAM HAMMER) | [email protected] | Yes, there are many posts on here about what seeds are the same crosses as the 1231 and 998. | 10/17/2008 6:37:59 PM |

            | UnkaDan | | correction needed, the 991.5 was grown off Leonardo's 1032 '05 (1446X1420=same cross as the 1231)
 the pollinator of the 991.5 was the 1195.5 Glasier '05(1144 Hestor'04 X 1109 LaRue'04)

just trying to keep things straight guys ;-)

            | Joe P. | Leicester, NY | Dan, not sure about your correction:-) I have a "991 Urena 05 uow" envelope from Leonardo that says it is a 1420.5 LaRue x 1446 Eaton, same as the 998.6. I believe Leonardo's 961.5 from 2006 was the 1032 x 1195.5 cross you mention. | 10/19/2008 7:18:03 AM |

            | UnkaDan | | ahh,,my mistake if that's the case Joe
sometimes "keeping things straight" isn't always the right choice,,,lol

but the 961.5 cross is correct :-)

            | CM | Decatur, IL | I have seeds from a 991 Urena X 947 Hunt(1446X1420)'06 and also the reverse cross from '06 if anyone is interested. | 10/19/2008 11:28:07 AM |

            | PatchMaster | Santa Rosa, CA. | 991 Urena was by far the best plant I have grown. It also grew the second place fruit at the Elk Grove weigh-off, 1338 by Juan Yanez. I think it will see a much greater planting next year.
