            | pumpkin cholo | Bloomington, IN | Is it possible to save seed from a jack-o'-lantern if it was hand pollinated? | 7/21/2008 7:08:20 AM |

            | nilbert | | Yes, you can save seeds even if it's open pollinated.
Of course, if it's open, you may end up with an large, ugly crookneckumpkin.

            | pumpkin cholo | Bloomington, IN | Thanks for replying. I think I should've been a little more specific. I was wondering if its offspring would produce the same pumpkin. | 7/21/2008 12:06:47 PM |

            | Phil D | Annapolis Valley Nova Scotia | Is a jack-o'-lantern a F1 hybrid? if it is then you will not get a jack-o'-lantern. | 7/21/2008 2:33:03 PM |

            | Tremor | [email protected] | Of all the pumpkins I've ever carved & saved seeds, none that I am aware has ever failed to grow. | 7/21/2008 10:02:06 PM |
