does the amount of lobes effect seed count?will the offspring have the same # of lobes as the parents?do lobes breed true generation after generation when self-pollinated?

seed count depends on pollination and fertiliztion more than lobe amount.

Yup. Each minute Male Pollen particle should become 1 single fully developed seed in the developed fruit cavity.

Actually, i need to re-word that somewhat. I should have said that each minute male pollen particle, once bedded into an immature seed inside the female pumpkin ovary, will/should produce a viable Seed in the developed fruit cavity.

my question is ....more lobes more suface area for pollen to create seeds, thus the pumpkin growing larger to make space for the seeds? any relation in seed count & pumpkin size?

Some of the biggest pumpkins have had little or no seeds. I have had a few fruit that have had no seeds at all. Sort of like a seedless watermelon.
