               I wonder whats best time to add gupsum in fall (now) or is it also ok to add in spring ?? Is there much differance ?

               Depending on how much you need, and what type you put in, you can add in both fall and spring. I would say granular is better in the fall, so it doesn't leach away as fast, and powdered would be better in spring.

               Does it not take a long while  for the biology to really affect changes, but doing it over the years consistently starts to catch up....Like turning a battleship, you start the turn 30 minutes before you need to change directions.?

               My Lowes carries it for $6.89 per 50lbs.  Agg supply also carries it for about the same.

               Petman is right, it does not change pH because the sulfur content is intended to offset the pH change.
