               brassicas? i assume you are using the mustard plants? as several species are brassicas like cabbages broccili and caluiflowers

  Noticed biologic green patch plus had a couple varietys in. Wheat oats clover... This looked like a good blend.

               I am trying a small test patch of dwarf essex rape.  You can see a photo in my grower diary.  It is cheap: $1.50 per pound and 4 pounds plants a whole acre.  It takes some frost but will winter kill.  I like the fact that it comes on fast and chokes out weeds.  And there is no problem planting it.  Just broadcast it and it will grow.  Deer do eat it.  I used some that I had left over from a deer plot.
