I'm on my 2nd 30 Gal.barrel of T. I added the same stuff as first, though I put the Garden Dirt/Comp.Bin Dirt/green leafy substances in Panty hose(Bag)to avoid extra straining. 4 c.alfafa/3 c molasses/old H2O melon & rotten tomatoes. The foam I got wasn't as thick as 1st batch w/everything loose. It's been 4-5 days adding some brown sugar to reactivate. The foam all but disappeared. Smells OK but it's the taste I'm after. Any thoughts??
On Cleaning. I read some of the E-coli messages. Yikes!! I had cleaned out the barrel w/bleach & H2O. Rinsed well. But didn't do anything but rinse the 2 x 12" fish tank bubblers or hoses I'm using. could I have contaminated something??
Ingredients Any feed back on: Karo Corn Syrup, Apple Cider Vinegar, Epsom Salt thanks klancy

I thought 1 had read of the rotten fruit as sugar in some article, along w/the other ingredients.wasn't sure what they provided. Haven't done a soil test .Guess I'n not attacking it as scientifically as I should. Just figured if I add everything nothing will be missing. The Tea just sounded like a good all round,non-chemical feeding. Guess I should know what the plants need for dinner. Hadn't heard of the 4-24. all I read were longer depending on temp. Thought I read if brewing longer to add sugar source to reactivate the Bacteria. I took the batch last night fed to 2 tomatoes,2 pepper, 1 zucchini, and 1 Ag. , as test in case of problems. The rest fed my compost bins & piles, which are only veg table scraps & yard waste, No animal manure. Started new batch 5 Gal.dirt & compost, alfafa, molasses I'll shorten the time and try a soil test. thanks klancy
