Thanks porkchop, yes I'm trying to. I'm using cut up pieces of cardboard slightly bigger than a coaster at 6 root locations surrounding the pumpkin. Currently about 6" elevated off ground in those locations. I noticed once I elevated side vines they split the long way during storms right near where I elevated so ill need a better plan in future perhaps :-/

After a quick search to define that word I get it lol. I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. I feed it every damn day, all organic stuff tho. I have well water as well as the whole neighborhood so I don't want to be "that guy" adding chemicals to ground. I use "a lot" of good fungi and bacteria foliar treatments and a lot of my homemade seaweed compost tea. In my mind, if I saturate environment with good stuff there aint no room for the bad.
