Do you just cut a sucker and stick it in the new pot or is there more? Never thought about using that technique to get additional plants. Very interested please share any important details. I would love to give it a shot

My technique has adjusted a bit over the years. But yes it's as easy as taking off a sucker and sticking it in the dirt and letting it create roots. I'll post a full description I the next day or so.
