               I had a plant that did this.  It was short on zinc and phosphorus (perhaps other things).  Once the nutrients were dialed in it finally threw a nice oval shape.  If you leave it, it can make it to the finish line and get big... but the small shoulders probably mean it wont be a WR.

               I kept culling the pear shaped ones... it took until September to finally get an oval shaped one!  By that time the seasin was over.  So I think it may be best to stick with the one you've got and try to get the ph or nutrients dialed in differently next year?
