My first year I had 3 tomatoes growing on one plant each spaced out roughly 10-15 days apart. I ended up with 3.11 first then 2 something then once those were cut off the other mater that was maybe dap 15 grew to 3.88 second biggest I've grown so far.

Thats how I would do it unless I thought there was an energy conflict.
I also have too many plants that are acting like one tomato is too many... I still cant figure them out.
