I have these beetles on my leaves. They have a red line around their bodies. They are seriously in the mating mode right now. Are these good beetles or bad beetles? I was gone for 4 days and this is what I return to. :(

Also I have a couple of leaves near the stump that are turning brown and others farther down the vines that are starting to curl and get little holes in them.

I also noticed tiny brown spots on one leaf.

What is going on???? Help.

I'm getting striped cucumber beetle and I live down the the road from you Jackson Highway and Sunrise. Go to ucdavis intergrated pest management site. I'll look it up and posted here.
