I was growing some test FPs this year and noticed two male flowers stuck together(https://www.bigpumpkins.com/Diary/DiaryViewOne.asp?eid=357511). I was wondering if they had been females and I culled one would it be bigger because there are two stems leading to the fruit. I have seen over 3000 pounds of pumpkin one one plan but two pumpkins. Anyone know.

I would expect that as soon as the channel leading to one fruit was severed, or the fruit, that that opportunity is gone and the remaining one would just be running off of its own original supply to begin with. If it occurs, though, by all means, give it a go in its unique circumstance, as well as with multiple fruits and also double/fused blossoms. Just my nickel's worth. eric g
