Speaking of next year, today I picked a load of tansy. This amount should be sufficient for some sprays from end of May through to beginning of July 2027 (...and thereafter I will continue the sprays with fresh plant matter). When using tansy to fight aphids in spring, you need to get that stuff in summer the year before. The plants contain the active ingredients especially at the time when in full bloom (which is between mid-July and end of August).
