Day 32 from seed. It's incredible how fast these genetics move once they take hold. The 2741.5 Haist is currently sitting at a 7.5-foot main vine and is already starting to push some thick, aggressive secondary vines.

I got the drip tape laid out in the hoop house today. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on Greenhouse Megastore to ship a few critical valves I ordered back in February so I can connect the tape to the mainline. Hoping those arrive this week so I can finally switch over to the automated tanks. The silver lining: while lightly raking the dirt to lay the tape, I found the ground is already loaded with healthy, bright white roots stretching out. The underground engine is definitely building nicely.

Overall, I'm pleased with the growth, especially given the conditions. In the 14 days since putting her in the dirt, we've fought through seven nights in the 30s, including a few harsh drops into the teens and twenties. It's required a lot of late-night manual labor to insulate and protect an ever-growing footprint, but the plant itself hasn't seen a single night below 68°F. The extra effort is paying off.
