Tomato plants in the ground, yesterday. Most barely have their first leaf out, so there's not much to see.

It went as well as it could have and I'm proud of myself! The only unfortunate thing was there was spotty germination. So some seeds from my best tomato friends are not in the lineup. No bias or agenda, none were excluded... I wasnt able to be picky. I planted everything that had germinated.

Along those lines, don't read too much into the 4 x 8.46 Claytons it's not like I have any inside info on what the best seed is they simply germinated the best. I generally planted about 4 of each seed. My overall germination rate was low (about 50%) probably because the seeds were, except for a few cold nights, mostly germinated outdoors rather than in the usual controlled germination chamber.

Anyhow, goal 1 is done & they are ready to show their colors.
