Checked on pumpkins already in ground 2000+ parents. Got 2 baby sheep twins boy with brown legs girl with white, both with white fleeces. Parents ate some old pumpkin seeds with last of previous bag of grain, bet they can't wait for a 2000 pound pumpkin. Not sure how to water, beyond the regular watering can at this point or how often reaching out into the big pumpkin site for guidance. Thank you.

Got a inch of growth on tray dividede in 16 sections with a pinch of tomato/pepper seeds 5+ in each. Daughter in charge of watering plants she is better, her dad's seeds she flooded I was ringing them out during soak stage, the big seeds in now reverse getting forgotten more but with gentle reminders she's getting it. Susan says pumpkin plants are having holes but she's doing well and watering them. Fed goldfish, wondering if fish in freezer moved to chest freezer would be better off in ground by pumpkin plants.

Thought I posted already, but it's not showing. Well just to repeat: My kids are awesome. Got seed starter mix, mixed with a little coffee used grounds. Repotted tomato/pepper starts in every empty sturdy cup from little used cupboard. Filled area by window. Hopefully they'll be bigger closer to the 2 nd.

Hit the dirt day. Ready or not soaked the seeds long enough, got 2 pumpkins 1 squash 5 watermelon. Put em in plastic strawberry containers with seed starter dirt, well the watermelon seeds are in a raspberry container but you get the drift. Watered them with the H202 mix they were soaked in. In seed warmer box with the repotted in seed starter mix other 2 pumpkins Susan saved from the snails. Picked up some sluggo plus for when we replant after they heal up abit. New to all this beginner part care, but trying.

Started a tray of flowers with daughter a few days ago. In seed germination box. Cosmos. New bud leaves on pumpkins. Tomato starts getting a bit bigger. Wish I had the capabilities to video growth. That'd make a cool link to add to a diary.

Blood meal, Epsom salt, heated soil, not sure on amendments or steps to take seeds didn't make it. I had a miscarriage a few weeks ago I guess I spotted for a week. Well now on period. Feel like womans body goes with the moon cycles, tide, and planting. Wars, blood, soil amendments, blood meal. Curious if history had poison apples aka tomatoes growing well after wars. Or that famine was more prevalent not knowing poison apples aka tomatoes were edible.sorry the big plant seeds didn't germinate. It's so cold. The tomato I think that's what they are did. No sign of flowers showing yet. I have some more big plant seeds, but I feel like giving up. Not my skill set.

Well the garden club sold lots of plants. I brought them some coffee cups with unlabeled tomato starts, all sold. Have more at home daughter wanted yo keep the big ones. Think we'll repot into milk jugs, trimming lower leaves then burying that leggy bit, just was told how to do that yesterday before taking kids to the 5k run/walk/stop and look at every stick in Packwood, WA, only took an hour and a half. Might put out a table by gate see if any interest in some more tomato plants. The pumpkins in the 5 gallon buckets seem same in miracle grow pot mix.

May the 4th be with you. Good luck everyone on your growing. We got 29 tomatoes, and one bean from Fred's preschool, repotted in gallon milk jugs cut to make mini greenhouses. Hinged on the handle and duct taped on opposite corner. Mother's day in less then a week that's the locals typical day to plant in the ground. Sure was warm yesterday. Did our repotting after 4:30pm when it finally started to cool. Kids all had their gloves, digging into the miracle grow potting soil. Did that trim the lower leaves and bury the leggy stem to make em root more and sturdy.

Repotted a few more tomato plants from coffee cups to milk jugs cut with hinge at handle and duct tape on opposite corner. They make a great mini green house, and keep sheep out sitting on top of picnic table. Used up miracle grow bag. Put strawberries in miracle grow in ice cream bucket they came in put light in window on them, and other plants kids got me for mother's day. Sheep were eating in the front of the house flower beds, so a little worried about planting where they might eat. Weather well ..we got rain today.
